HELLO, WE ARE YMCA.

YMCA is a global non-profit organization founded in 1844 in which more than 700,000 volunteers and 96,000 professionals join wills to serve more than 58 million people in 119 countries and 11,000 communities.

 

The YMCA Movement in Latin America and the Caribbean promotes the integral development of the human being in spirit, mind and body through an extensive network of community centers, lodges, camps, hotels and sports and recreational facilities that focus on the construction of a best society in Latin America and the Caribbean.

HELLO, WE ARE YMCA.

YMCA stands for Young Men’s Christian Association. They have been maintained since its foundation in London in 1844.

 

It was founded by George Williams with a group of young people to recover, in times of the English industrial revolution, the importance of maintaining a balance between the three essential aspects of the human being: body, mind and spirit.

 

Based on principles of Christian inspiration, it currently has a marked ecumenical character, being open to people of all faiths and beliefs.
