YMCA will organize the Conference of the Americas in the city of Bogotá, Colombia, from November 11 to 14, 2020, to expand youth-led efforts that promote social inclusion and equity in their communities throughout the Americas region .

The event, Fair and Equitable Communities, reflects YMCA's commitment to prepare young leaders to lead the change in the community, being an event part of the Summit of Solutions series, led by young people from the YMCA 2020 Global Alliance -2022 to advance global youth leadership and progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDG).

The Conference will bring together up to 500 youth (ages 16-30) and adult leaders from the YMCA and multiple local, national and global partners including the private sector, government, NGOs, faith-based groups and universities who will be equipped with the tools, resources and networks to return to their communities and lead community transformation.

Livestreaming will elevate exposure of the event to reach an additional 1,500 youth in the Americas and around the world.

These young changemakers will return home energized and better equipped with skills to deepen their ability to develop solutions and lead change towards achieving the UN SDGs.
